Phillip is a leading Health worker and mentors new staff to the clinic. He also supervises and coordinates all patient trips ensuring they make their specialist appointments.

He is qualified as a Level IV Dispensary Assistant with the Pharmacy Guild.

He is also qualified to provide venipuncture services (taking blood).

Phillip works with the Clinic team to ensure that referrals are made, medication dispensed and the Doctor and other staff members are supported in the delivery of health care.

Rosalyn is the Senior Receptionist and is the first contact for patients of WAMS.

She is also qualified to provide venipuncture services (taking blood) as an Aboriginal Healthworker – Clinical.

She guides people through the doors to staff they need to see.

Rosalyn is a source of information for staff  – phone numbers, resources, ‘where is it’ and Medicare.

Without Rosalyn as the head of the reception team, staff would find more time is taken on locating essential contacts.

David Kennedy is our clinic Aboriginal Health Worker. David’s role is diverse, he is competent with veni-puncture, can tend to a variety of diagnostic tests, he is also accredited through the Australian Pharmacy Guild to dispense medications from our on site dispensary unit. David  also covers at times as Transport Officer, past up-skilling ensures that David he can work in our Dental clinic and his knowledge of the local community is invaluable.

Eye Health Co-Ordinator, Phyllis Tighe, was one of six Aboriginal Health Workers from across NSW to successfully complete the Eye Care Skills Set run by the Aboriginal Health College within the (NSW) Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC).
Phyllis received her Statement of Attainment on 18th July, 2007, at the Inaugural Graduation.
