Jessie Richardson

Jessie manages a team of 18 employees  including Reception staff for the clinic and Dental, clinical staff together with Aboriginal Health Workers, Nurses,  Doctors and Dentists , clinical administrative employee’s, Dental assistants, pharmacy assistants, transport officers and cleaners. Jessie’s role is to manage the day to day business from a clinical perspective, she is actively involved with the recruiting process and mentoring of employing Health workers, Doctors, Nurses and other staff to the organisation. Jessie also organises ongoing in-house training held each Friday afternoon and arranges professional development courses as required. Jessie is on hand to provide cover to the clinic or dispensary unit as needed.

Phillip is a leading Health worker and mentors new staff to the clinic. He also supervises and coordinates all patient trips ensuring they make their specialist appointments.

He is qualified as a Level IV Dispensary Assistant with the Pharmacy Guild.

He is also qualified to provide venipuncture services (taking blood).

Phillip works with the Clinic team to ensure that referrals are made, medication dispensed and the Doctor and other staff members are supported in the delivery of health care.

Kayla is a valued member of the Dental team. Her role consists of many duties from booking appointments for either Dentists, Dental Therapists and Dental Prostheses. Kayla cleans the surgery before and after each patient, set’s up the clinic for daily business, she assists the Dentists with procedures, tends to sterilizing and recording of same,  reorders stock then packs and rotates all products, she is proactive with health promotion in Walgett and surrounding communities.

David Kennedy is our clinic Aboriginal Health Worker. David’s role is diverse, he is competent with veni-puncture, can tend to a variety of diagnostic tests, he is also accredited through the Australian Pharmacy Guild to dispense medications from our on site dispensary unit. David  also covers at times as Transport Officer, past up-skilling ensures that David he can work in our Dental clinic and his knowledge of the local community is invaluable.
