WAMS is always looking for Health Workers & Professionals to service the needs of Walgett and remote outback communities. If you are a qualified health care professional and you feel the need for a river change, or just want to do your bit to support the people of remote & outback communities within your skill set, there is a fair chance we have a place for you, whether it be on a temporary, casual, semi-permanent or permanent basis.
The WAMS Code of Conduct is covered in WAMS Policies & Proceedures. Areas covered in the Policies & Proceedures include, Governance, Corporate Governance, OH&S, Service Delivery, Use of Resources, Clinic, Information Technology.
Staff clinical in-services are held every Friday afternoon.
Working with WAMS endeavours to provide opportunities for staff to learn new skills or improve on existing skill sets in order to provide the competencies needed to provide the best quality health services to it’s clients, while allowing it’s employees to further their careers.
