Job Description

The Walgett Local Network Coordinator will deliver alcohol and other drug clinical support, counselling and casework to clients, coordinate referral to visiting drug and alcohol specialists, provide or organize expert advice and training to staff of primary health care services, provide day to day support and supervision to drug and alcohol trainees, and support the local Aboriginal Community and services to develop culturally appropriate promotion, prevention and community development initiatives in collaboration with local and regional alcohol and other drug services.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Drug and Alcohol
  • Associate Diploma in Social Work
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science
