Goonimoo Children’s Services
Located at 35-49 Wee Waa Street, Goonimoo houses the Children’s Services Manager and Early Childhood Educators.
The service delivers play sessions to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children between the ages of 0-5 years old.
Goonimoo offers child-focused, stimulating and friendly play sessions for children with the aim of creating positive and trusting partnerships with parents and families. Early Childhood Workers interact with both children and parents to create an environment that is nurturing and will foster physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of the children, working with the Children’s Services Manager to deliver the Goonimoo Support Playgroup Program which supports at risk children and families.
Goonimoo Mobile Children’s Service provides an early childhood education program that serves isolated communities and townships surrounding Walgett. The mobile service helps to address the major lack of other child services in these areas. The service delivers play sessions to children between the ages of 0-5 years old.

Playgroup times 10am – 12pm.
