Located at 37 Pitt Street, The GP Clinic houses the Clinic Practice Manager, 2 permanent GPs and visiting Locums, Senior Aboriginal Health Worker (Pharmacy Dispensary), Aboriginal Health Workers, Nurses, Receptionists and our Transport Team.

The GP clinic provides holistic primary health care including, women’s health, men’s health, child and maternal health, family planning, health checks, immunisations and vaccinations, pre-employment Medicals, and Sexual Health.

Clinical procedures include: 24 Hour ECG monitoring, Urea breath Testing, Glucose monitoring, Diabetes management.

GP Appointments are required. Walk-In clients are triaged by nurses or Aboriginal Health Practitioners/Workers prior to being seen by a GP.

Dispensary - is managed by a Senior Aboriginal Health Worker and S100 subsidised medications are provided to current clients.

ITC (Caring Hands) Program - The ITC Program assist Aboriginal clients with eligible chronic conditions to access specialist care.

Transport - transport is provided for eligible current clients for patient trips to referral centres.

Child and Family Health - The Child and Family Health Nurse offers guidance, advice and assistance with parenting, nutrition, breast feeding, monitoring of developmental milestones and immunisation checks to new mothers and children up to five years old and works closely with the Midwife and the Goonimoo Children’s Service Manager.

Maternal Health - Our Midwife offers antenatal and postnatal care through the Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Services program, pregnancy testing and family planning advice. Services are delivered in a comfortable setting and home visits are offered on request.

Our ITC Program, Child and Family Health and Maternal Health Team are located in the New Development Building which houses our ITC Coordinator, ITC Nurse, Midwife, Child and Family Health Nurse and Aboriginal Health Workers.
