The WAMS Program Team provide Primary Health Care and opportunistic health screening to towns within the Walgett Shire and other remote locations. One of the main focuses of the Program Team is to provide health promotion activities which are implemented into the community to increase awareness on various health issues.
The Family Centred Primary Health Care (FCPHC) team provides fortnightly clinics at Goodooga and Pilliga, working closely with area health staff in these locations. Planning is underway to commence clinics in other towns.

The team leader of this program is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Accredited Immuniser and co-ordinates outreach clinics with the FCPHC Aboriginal Health Workers and contracted GPs, offering a comprehensive primary health care program focussing on chronic diseases conducted within the Shire of Walgett and surrounding areas.
